The Powerhouse is designed to move massive loads between assembly lines weighing in excess of 12,000 lbs. It is a model CD380 3-strand chain drag conveyor with optional equipment added to support and move these loads. This CD380 is located perpendicular to the power transfers and transports the product between parallel assembly lines. Because the product is a rectangular shape the orientation has changed from length x width to width x length. The conveyor needed to be wider to accommodate this orientation which required an additional chain strand in the middle for support.
